WHO I SEE

I see adults (aged 18 and above) in BC in-person and online for individual counselling, and adults in Ontario and Alberta for online counselling. I specialize in addiction, sexual assault, and chronic illness.

As an independent practitioner working without the support of an interdisciplinary health care team, I am not able to provide adequate service to people who are in the acute phase of mental illness: 

• who are actively suicidal (have a plan and intent to harm themselves and feel at risk of acting)

• who are experiencing unmanaged bipolar or psychotic illness.

I am not able to provide clinical support between sessions, so clients requiring more frequent contact should consider other options.

I follow the BC provincial guidelines for provision of health care services in response to COVID-19, which at this time do not require masks indoors. I am happy to wear a mask if you would prefer it; please let me know prior to our first meeting if this is the case.
